An extraordinary 4-hour
adventure watching the dolphins that frolic in the Oman
waters. Every trip cannot guarantee that you will see
schools of dolphins, but the warm waters of the coast of
Muscat are home to some 22 species of whales and dolphins
so chances are you will go home happy anyway. It is an
enchanting sight to watch groups of these marine mammals
frisking and playing among the waves. The boat departs
from the Bandar Rowdah at 0800 hrs. Tea, coffee and soft
drinks are served on board except in the holy month of
Ramadan. An unforgettable day! |

An experience not to be
missed! This excursion with a 4 wheel drive takes you to

as a sand sea. This 10,000 square kilometer desert

its evolution over millions of years. The Wahiba Sands are
home to the fiery Bedouins and it truly impresses the
tourist with its shifting dunes and changing colours. The

picturesque Wadi Bani Khalid is in close proximity to the
Wahiba Sands and it is possible to extend the tour in
order to wander around the lush and green wadi too. |

The word ‘Shaab’
rightly means Ravine between Cliffs. The costal road to
Shaab is perhaps the most scenic. Drive up the cliff with
its shallow pools and date palms. Drive up the cliff with

abundant Orchards before
returning to Muscat. |
