Rental Guide

Charges:
  • Prices are in Omani Rials per day.
  • Additional Charges: Excess Mileage/CDW
  • The minimum rental period is 24 hours with excess hours charged at 1/5th of the daily rate.
  • The rates are subject to change with out prior notice.
  • Vehicles are supplied with full tank of petrol and should be returned with full tank.
  • A refueling charge will be applicable for vehicles not returned with full tank. There are 200 free kilometers per day, after which a nominal extra charge will be applied.
  • Chauffeur term is for an 8 hour period, after which every additional hour will incur a RO.2/-
Driving Licence:
  • As per our insurance clause, the minimum age requirement is 25 years.
  • Oman residents require a current Oman driving license.
  • All international driving licenses must be accompanied with a valid driver’s license from the issuing country.
Insurance:
All our vehicles are comprehensively insured with in Oman, including third party insurance. Comprehensive insurance cover is provided against accidental damage, fire, and theft. All insurance clauses are subject to laws of Oman and are restricted to the confines of the country. In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, the hirer is responsible for the total damage cost, except where collision Damage Waiver (CDW) has been accepted and purchased by the hirer (a non – waiverable amount will be applicable). This will be applicable provided terms and conditions have been complied with. Insurance excess of OMR 75 is payable in case of accident.
 
Damage
In case of damage, you must follow these instructions on the spot.
  • Immediately inform the rental station.
  • Call the police and have an accident report drawn up.
  • When you return the vehicle, produce the damage report given by police.
Delivery and collection
Delivery and collection is free within Muscat City limits only. For beyond city limits there will be charge.
Payment
Credit card is mandatory and an imprint of the credit card will be taken on all individual rentals. A pre-authorization covering the estimated rental charges will be necessary and will be obtained on the credit card.
Complaints
If, after renting a car, you should have reason or complaint, please submit your complaint in writing.

•    Proof of payment / credit card statement.
•    Police accident record, damage report (in case of accident/damage).
